Urinary Catheterisation Webinar
The NMC states that catheters should only be used for bladder management and that the urinary catheter should be removed as soon as possible. It is imperative that all registered nurses are able to assess when it is strictly necessary to use such devices and understand risk and correct procedures, including assessing when it can be removed.
